A Malaysian adventure to remember

An adventure starting in East Malaysia, visiting Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching for 1 month alone, followed by a two week relaxing holiday in KL and Langkawi with my partner. Preparations have been underway for many months now and excitement is ever growing.

Malaysia is sometimes called the "lucky country" of Asia, because it is so richly endowed with natural resources. On my trip I will explore the history, wildlife and culinary delights of this wonderful country. My taste buds are all ready, with ruminating thoughts of what wonders lie ahead.

In my experience of visiting the main Malaysian peninsula, the Malays are fantastic! They have a wonderful, friendly temperament with all the time in the world for tourists. They are very happy to see you enjoying their country and they are the most hospitable people I have ever met.

Here's to making the most of my career break from the NHS.
