The itch to travel became too much! And I found myself half a world away in South Korea - living the dream as a Guest English teacher.

In 2011 I lived in a place called Chuncheon, surrounded by mountains and rivers. But lord, was it cold.

Having graduated from University of Nottingham I started travelling and absolutely loved it. I did one trip around the world, then a second major trip through Latin America.

I then went back to the real world with one of those job things, but the wanderlust didn't leave and I managed to fit in plenty of short trips.

After finishing a 4 year degree in Civil Engineering, I decided I needed a break from looking at buildings, roads and bridges and so headed to South Korea to teach ESL to a bunch of 3 year olds for a year. I enjoyed it so much I decided to continue the adventure in Vietnam, and I lived in Saigon teaching Maths and Science to lower secondary school kids for 6 months.
