You are wetting our appetite!
Now that you are in the British Isles, suddenly there seems to be a whole different flavor---beautiful scenery, outdoor adventure with camaraderie, etc. It must help that they speak English? We look forward to our month in Scotland and seeing you.

Was that Bob?
This is an area we would like for our next home exchange. It does look beautiful. Not sure it is bikable however. It almost looked like Bob parasailing!

Text Book?
Just thought you'd both like to know, I had almost the exact picture of the Pont du Gard in one of my social studies text books. I love all these pictures (Europe is SO pretty :D) but seeing that picture is so cool.

Barcelona and Spain
Wrote twice about our trip and it disappeared. Did you get it? Enjoying your pictures. Some are better than ours. Did you see the man on the toilet on the Ramblas? We put some money in his pot. We enjoyed Barcelona. Will send again if you didn't get it. Eileen

Wow!
This is certainly worthy of being a World Heritage site. Thanks for all of the beautiful pictures. It's almost like being there. (Well, not quite).

A good combination
It is interesting to see both the grandiose cathedrals and the everyday life of the people of Spain(or wherever you are). We do appreciate all of the work it takes to convey all of this information. Your experiences have been very enlightening. Much better than the usual tours.

Hi Kelly and Bob. We are so happy to hear that everything is fine with the two of you. (minus the cortizone problem) We are admiring your photos and laughing at your comments, and a little jealous of your adventures. Everything is fine in Pittsburgh. The Penguins are in the Stanley Cup Finals. Quincy is keeping patrol of all of 15209. Thanks for the postcards for the girls. Take care--Mike, Denise, Jamie, Allison and Quincy.

Magnificent Buildings
Both Portugal and Spain appear to have many magnificent buildings. So huge and elaborate. Quite impressive. How do you figure out the public transportation when you don't speak the language?

One impressive monastery.
That is quite a monastery! Some of the most dramatic human stories can be learned if you take enough time to find them. That story about his father ordering her death is one of them.

A great story
It looks like a great place on the beach. I hope they have not heard about global warming. Enjoyed your story and the pictures of your food. We can always tell when you have a good wifi sight. Keep it coming.

castle gate
The short castle wall reminded me of "The eye of the Needle gate" in ancient Jerusalem. I wonder if the height was designed for protection. Anyway I just want to tell you how much fun I am having following your trip. Fondly, Diane

I think the picture of the church next to the Prado must be as seen through Maureen's eyes.

Slapfoot
Hi! It is great to see others who really LOVE Kejimkujik. I have been going there since I was a child...and still go today with my own son. The trail you were walking down when you met the deer was slapfoot trail. This, of course, is one of many beautiful trails that Keji has to offer. If you haven't done the Hemlock and Hardwoods trail...it is a must see! JoAnne

British Pound
We also are going ahead with Scotland, even though our dollar is worth less than half a pound. We do have a home exchange to help but I am sure it will be a shock. We hope to see you in Scotland in September.

Spain
We are surprised you are already in Spain? In our view,France is the cheapest Land to travel with a motorhome. (with this camping guide for motorhomes) Compliments for your fotos and reportings. From Max and Gabrielle

Thank you
Have enjoyed photos and prose. Noted the cost of things in Mont St Michel story and began to retool travel thinking. Perhaps it's better to find a flat some place and wander about the villiage (town) to see things on a smaller scale? A large city would take a lifetime! Will you see the Carcasonne? Paris-France
Very interesting your stay in Paris. Don't walk to much...buy a "Mobilis"ticket. So you can take "Bus+Metro" for 1 day or more and its cheap. For traveling in France with a motorhome its very useful to buy "Le guide national des AIRES DE SERVICES camping cars"2008. It cost € 7.- Greetings Gaby/Max
