Interlaken to Niederhorn

After some early morning fog, everything is clear. So we are off to the cable cars to Niederhorn. On the bus and train we chatted with folks carrying gear to wind-sailing from the top of Neiderhorn. First the bus, then the train, then the cable car, the day is clear and we stop to watch the wind-sailing folks take off...WOW what a rush!!
From the top of Neiderhorn, we began hiking down the Alps. Howe many hiking trails are there in the Alps??? We met some folks from Switzerland ...Fred and Eva and as we approached a station, Vorsass, they suggested we have a coffee and dessert with them. What lovely people!
We decided to take the Bike/Scooter down the next section with Fred and Eva. Well, it looks like a bike...two wheels, handlebars, and brakes...however, no seat and no pedals. It took us a while to get the hang of it, but before long...we were scootering around the many cows (and their bells). Fred and Eva are going to Albania to do missionary work. They are retired and have a desire to help others. We took the long trail (about 10 kms) it seems the scooter/bike is intended for short people, not Bob and Kel!! The scenery is outstanding! The last leg of the trail we are actually on a road with traffic(??pushing a scooter)... then back to the train station. Safe and Sound...Amen!! Fred and Eva drove us "home " and we bid them " Bon Voyage! "
