Copper Canyon
Paul and I plan on going to Copper Canyon some day. We are leaving it for when we drive. Trying to catch places that we need to fly to first. Copper Canyon looks as beautiful as advertised, so I think we will put it on our "TO DO" list. Our next trip is Madagascar, probably after the NCTA Annual Conference. Continue your fun !!!!! joyce and paul

Tarahumaras
I was so struck by the existence of the Tarahumaras! It made me sit back and thank God for all that I have. I'm enjoying checking in once in awhile. Sometimes I feel as though I'm on these adventures with you. Happy birthday Bob!!

Mexico a good experience
Bob and Maureen, It is nice to know you are enjoying Mexico. You were so well prepared, it was bound to happen. That picture of La Playa looks so inviting. Are you getting a chance to practice your Spanish? Joan and Jim

Memories
Thanks for the story and photo memories. It reminds me of the early 1970's when 5 friends and I took a 60 mile three canoe trip on the RG though the canyons. Yes, we soaked in the hot springs in Mexico and camped near the river close to Boquillas where we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at a local eatery. Another time, my wife and I backpacked to the South Rim for a night. We could only carry enough water for a day out and a day back.

awesome
The dry tortugas are phenominal and I am glad to see you got to enjoy all that Fort Jefferson had to offer. Must have been pretty quiet at night!!! I got engaged on that island and it is by far, the closest to paradise I've ever been.

The church you have a picture of is actually the temple of the Community of Christ (Formerly The Reorganised Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.) and their head quarters. Even though the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (or sometimes known as Mormons) and the Community of Christ share some history the Community of Christ split from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints some 100 years ago

One of the top 10 scenic drives.
Its hard to keep your eyes on the road when driving down the Pacific Highway. No wonder it is listed as one of the most scenic drives in America. www.americasbestonline.net/highway.htm
