PARTE I - Irma VS Las Vegas El miércoles 6 de septiembre, después de mucho pensarlo, decidimos emprender el viaje que teníamos planeado desde hace un par de meses. No fue una decisión fácil de tomar pues esto implicaba dejar nuestras pertenencias y sobre todo a nuestra familia y amigos a la merced de IRMA; el huracán más fuerte del Atlántico hasta ahora registrado. Zuerst eine lustige Zeit bei BMW verbracht. Beim Transport nach LA hatten die Japaner das Windshield abgeschraubt und 6 Klein-Teile von der Halterung verloren. BMW hatte davon 4 Teile zum stolzen Preis von 35 $. Ohne Einbau. Den machte ich selber. Suchte mit in der Nähe ein schattiges Plätzchen und begann. Keinen passenden Torx im Bordwerkzeug und zwei Teile fehlten sowieso. Am Schluss musste man nur noch die zwei Schrauben fest ziehen. Ich ging zu den Burschen und schlug vor, dass sie mit für 1 Minute das passende Werkzeugteil leihen. Nein. Sie verleihen kein Werkzeug. Also blieb nur eins. Ich schlug vor, dass man einen Mechaniker beauftragt, die zwei Schrauben fest zu ziehen und man mir eine Rechnung gibt.
