Nominate bloggers who have never had a blog on the Front Page and have fewer than 5 recommends.
...but that would give them five recommendations, thus disqulaifying them from being a blogger of the week...or have I misunderstood something?
That is usully the rule, or was it, but so many good bloggers are being heavily recommended, after they get nominated for Blogger of the Week. It would be a pity to deprive them of an award, just because of that, so we can keep the rule a bit loose. ie We will base it on common sense. If they deserve an award, and they qualify for one at the time they are nominated, they have a chance to get the award, because it wouldnt be such a great thing for bloggers either, if people dont give them recommends, just to keep them qualified for the blogger of the Week award, especially since only one person per week can get it. 😊
Reply to this I'm getting the hang of this recommending and nominating business! It will be fun looking for the hidden gems.
It is really great, when more people join in. Thanks for helping us find the hidden gems, Home and Away. 😊
Reply to this I would like to nominate Andy and Debbie for blogger of the week. They have published an outstanding blog this week. Hope you will take the time to read.

Reply to this Although they have 15 Recommends I still think they deserve this recognition, so I second the nomination. However, there are probably a couple of bloggers already on the list for the next week or so as this forum has been quite active lately...must be a year end thing..
Reply to this What about Andy and Debbie get recognised in the Hall of Fame instead. They really are over qualified to be nominated for the Blogger of the Week award, since they have been Featured Bloggers for a whiile, and being a featured blogger is more prestigious than being a Blogger of the Week.
The nominations for the Hall of Fame will open in a couple of months, so remember to nominate Andy and Debbie and hopefully more people will do the same, to make sure they get the award. The Hall of Fame award is the most prestigious award of all. 😊 You might even get in the Hall of Fame yourself Home and Away, since you are a long standing and highly popular blogger. 😊
Reply to this I just added my FaceBook Like to Andy and Debbie, so that is something from me, for now. I will also give them my vote for the Hall of Fame award, when the time comes. 😊
Reply to this My eyes must have done something screwy and not realized they had 15...yes, hall of fame is the best choice!
Reply to this Wow, what a coincidence! I saw their comment in the forum about posting pictures with blogs, and started to follw them. Consequently, I was going to recommend them, and you beat me to the punch. I will have to be satisfied with seconding the nomination.

Reply to this Id like to nominate the lurker who became a blogger.
and all the world came tumbling in
After lurking around on Travel Blog for years, I have come to realize that I love reading blogs with colorful introductions to the adventurers whose lives I am hacking through by means of reading their blogs. With this being said, how about a little introduction blog for the first go around?
Reply to this I would like to 2nd the nomination Mell made on November 7th for

Reply to this She is three months in to what looks like a long wandering journey which could be quite interesting...mostly couchsurfing. So I'll add my second. Just don't forget about those who have been nominated and seconded, and thirded, earlier.
