Well after an 18 hour drive we are back near sun, sand and surf. We hung out in adalaide and went to some awesome wineries, forgot where we were for a few days ;) and decided not to go to cober pedy (inland desert area with underground hostels) because Spanky was giving us sass...so we decided to move to the East Coast...Brisbane to be more specific....we have only been here a day but our hostel is amazing. They are out of rooms so we only have to pay 10 dollars to sleep in the TV room...not sure how much sleeping will be done...Muaaaaaa.... All in all having a great time...really the status of that hasent changed that much. We have seen amazing things, met amazing people....saw wineries, went bull riding, we even did a penguin tour ... read more

Wow!

This is just a test to see how everything works. I don't really have the time or the internet time to write a fullblown entry but just you wait! Maybe it'll be worth it :) I'll get some pictures up of Brisbane and the few places I've been. Thanks for reading :) ~C... read more

Hey! We are currently in Mission Beach after travelling a few hours from our last stop in Airlie Beach. Airlie Beach was the stepping stone to the Whitsunday islands, an amazing array of untouched islands off the border which provided glorius views of beauty! The trip was only 2 nights and 3 days but we pretty much all agreed that we could easily do it again and if i was in Oz for longer i would definetly have tried for a job for a couple of weeks! We started off by meeting the crew and the other passengers. It was a 26 man boat and this time there were only 7 of us. However, within 30 minutes 3 of the 4 crew knew my name and we were well on the way! ;-) We were on ... read more

Hey everyone, We travelled from Brisbane to a place called Rainbow beach, this was our departure point to go on our 4WD tour to Fraser Island. The day before we went on the safari we met our groups. There were 2 jeeps travelling with 7 people in each one. Oue jeep was filled with myself, Laurie and Liam and 4 other Irish people ( I know what you're thinking, where would we store all the drink!!!). The Irish people are from Clare and are 2 couples called David and Sinead and Dec and Tina. In the other jeep were 2 English girls, Rachel and Debs, a Canadian guy called Mike, a Swedish guy called Simon, an American couple called Heather and Alex (nicknamed Asslicks after he spelled his name wrong!) and Sam the Australian. We all ... read more

I got up, checked out, did the whole breifing thing, then decided it wasn't right without Skinny, who was doin it a couple of days later. I thought it would be best to spend some time apart because she's probably sick of me. I didnt like the thought of her going on her own so at the last minute I changed my mind... read more

Hey everyone, After leaving Surfers Paradise we travelled to Brisbane. It's a really nice city, it has a small town feel but still has all the city amenities. We were only here for three days so it was just a flying visit really. On our first day we did a bit of shopping and Laurie bought her snazzy new camera...notice how nice the pics are...and how many of them we have (she's been snap happy since she got it!!!!). That night we went on a nice leisurely walk to a lovely area called Southbank and had a drink. The next day myself and Liam rented bicycles and cycled around Brisbane's 500km of bike tracks (not all of it!), it was such a good way to see the city, we got to see all the sights and ... read more

Soede Caroline! MEN........................ skattepige. I've been there, seen this & done that. Og det ... read more
