Jullie zullen wel gedacht hebben, Ralph heeft zich al aardig aangepast aan het Turkse cultuurtje. Wat vandaag niet hoeft kan morgen of over een maand ook wel. Of was het alweer 1,5 maand geleden..... Nou, hier ben ik dan weer. Vandaag was ik aan het denken; hoe was dat Nederlandse weer ook alweer. Regen, een graadje of 20/25. Even (5 sec) snakte ik naar het Nederlandse weer. Ik heb sinds mijn komst naar Turkije nog geen druppel regen of wolkje gezien. En de gem. temperatuur is nog steeds zo'n 35 graden. Vandaag was het weer tegen de 40 gr en gisteren ging het er over heen. Maar je hoort mij niet klagen. Volgende maand zal het weer zo rond de 28/30 graden zijn. Brrrrr, dikke jassen uit de kast. So, we are back from our aegean cruise through the Greek islands! To highlight, we went to Mykonos, Kos, Syros, Paros, Kalymnos, and Bodrum in Turkey. It was a budget cruise put on by the budget airline company; easyjet. And it was worth every penny. Booking ahead, for two people, getting your own room with a bathroom and everything, it was about 112 pounds, or 224 dollars. That's about 112 dollars per person. Which if you think about it, is less than the price of accomodation for 6 nights most of the time. So it was a bargain. Food is not included, but it's actually not that expensive aboard, and the good thing about the cruise, is that it sails in the early morning, and you get to spend all day, and most of the night, ... read more

Hallo vrienden, Op de achtergrond klinkt de imam door de luidsprekers om iedereen een goede nachtrust toe te wensen. (of zoiets) Gelukkig is onze tijdelijke woning maar 50 meter verwijderd van de moskee. En begint de imam iedereen pas om 04:45 uur LUID toe te spreken. Maar je raakt er aan gewent en slaap rustig door zijn gezang heen. Even een kort update: We hebben warm water in ons toekomstige huis. Na veel aandringen!!! De aanvraag voor een telefoonlijn is de deur uit. Dus waarschijnlijk hebben wij internet als we daar wonen. Je weet nooit hoe lang hier iets duurt. De gekochte goederen staan in het huis (koelkast, oven, gasfornuis, kinderbedjes, ons matras, slaapkamerkast, tuinset) De bank komt waarschijnlijk over 12 dagen. Onze spullen uit nederland komen waarschijnlijk woensdag PAS. Ze doen moeilijk bij de douane. ... read more
