Well, I used to travel with my family always, so I don't need a mascot to accompany me. But I do have one and I call him "SQUID". I receive it through a friend, that love to collect stuff like that.

Reply to this I have four mini rubber ninjas and a mini rubber pig that sit on the dashboard display in my car. The ninjas I've had since I was 14 (won them in a quarter machine) and as soon as I started driving, I put them in my car. The pig I got a few years later and added to the collection. They've been in my car so long now that the back side and the front side are no where near the same color any more. When I marched drum corps in high school I took them along on the three week tour by taping them to the window of the tour bus. Unfortunately though, I don't have any pictures. I left them at home when I came to South Korea (they're safe guarding my car 😉.
Reply to this My mascot that will be joining me on my journey is going to be Batman, my boyfriend won him for me in one of those claw games.
Reply to this Oh and about the travelling gnome. The origional "Travelling Gnome" was stolen from a garden in Australia around 30 years ago.The thieves took photos of the gnome all over the world and posted them to the grieving owners. After a year or 2 ,and MANY photos, the grieving owners were shocked to find the gnome was back in their garden as if he'd never left. But I'm sure if they really looked he had a knowing smile that wasn't there before. This story became very famous around the world and was a filler on many international news programs. Now it is a popular custom to take someones gnome travelling.
Reply to this I suppose I travel with my lion, Leo. He has that charm that dispells homesickness.
Also, my naming sense isn't that good. But heck, I love the little dude!
Reply to this Do you have a photo of you and Leo together, Byron?
Reply to this I hadn't thought about that until right now but on this trip I will most certainly bring Derf with me!
He's my dragon, or my Morrigan Plushie 😊
Great idea!
