Do you travel with a mascot?

Are you willing to tell the world?

My secret is out, though I travel alone, my mascots are always with me. Lenny the Curious Lemur (purchased in 2003 at the Singapore Zoo but made in the USA) and Blu the Travel 'Roo (purchased in 2002 at a souvineer shop in Brisbane, Australia but made in China).

If you travel with a mascot or mascots, please introduce them here with a photo!

I would be willing to tell(at least I think I would, but I suppose I would need to be in the situation to know for sure) the world, but there is nothing to tell. 😊 I dont travel with any mascots.

Your mascots are cute though, Shane. I never get to hold on to things like that. My daughter confiscates them. :D

Sometimes I take my boyfriend and/or daughter with me when I travel. Could they be considered mascots? See profile pic for photo of them. :D Reply to this

I think mascots need to be inanimate objects for this definition.

However, I know of one (or possibly two) bloggers on this site who are actually mascots - if someone can remember who they are, please post them here! Their humans companions would be considered mascots for the purposes of this thread. Reply to this

This is great - hadn't seen this mascot before! Bring on more - and go the Cyclones!

I finally found one of the mascots I'd remembered from my previous readings:

MisterMunkey

This is a very thoughtful photo taken in Thailand.

Yes of course I have a mascot; Conny Coniglio!
Bought him in Airlie Beach, Australia 2005, and amazingly enough he still sings his little tune if you give his tummy a squeeze!! =D

Conny Coniglio is another cool mascot - and from my home state of Queensland no less 😉

Theres, you have posted Conny on your travelblog profile page. That is a good idea, I'll consider it with my two mascots as well. Reply to this

Yes of course he is on my profile, he is always with me. 😉 At home he sits on the radiator in the hallway. He likes it best there - since he is Australian. *haha* Reply to this

Since Conny is sitting on the radiator, just spray a bit of water mist on him occasionally as that will remind him of the humidity in North Queensland. Reply to this

On my trip to Panama with my family, my little brother brought his Buzz Lightyear doll with him and forgot it in the hotel. Boy when we got home to CA it was a nightmare. Reply to this

Elmo looks most fetching at the Bayon - my mascots Blu and Lenny visited there too and really enjoyed it!

Allison, though travelling with a mascot it a healthy pursuit, losing one would be terrible! If there happened to be a fire in my hotel (hopefully never) and I only had time to grab a handful of items it would be my passport, camera/computer bag, and mascots. Reply to this

Uh yeah! I try to persuade my daugher not to take her favourite toys/mascots when we go someplace. The police in those places lose interest when we tell them that Penelope or Guppy who are missing are not in fact humans. 😞 Reply to this

If Penelope or Guppy have travelled with you Mel, then put them on here - if it is good enough for Elmo, it is good enough for these two! Reply to this

Looks like we have a new travelling mascot on Travelblog - one where the mascot is actually the blogger. Please welcome Flat Stanley Beigelman! Reply to this
