We now have internet access again, so can catch up on blogwork, but I desperately wanted to write about our sighting of a comet. We were driving back to Geelong from a day out in Melbourne on the 22nd of January, the sun had just set, and I spotted what I thought was a plane still in the sun due to being high up. But as we drove along, it didn't seem to move, so it couldn't be a plane...It was about the same hight as a beautiful crescent moon which was also sinking, as it was slowly which we noticed after about an hour of driving, It was like a star with a long vapour trail which spread out a little, going vertically up into the sky.
