As the topic, I will be there for 3 days. What should I do and must do?
I really like to go see the GBI, is it possible going there as a day trip and come back to Auckland at night? I also dont like taking the plane....

GBI isn't practical as a day trip, but there are other island options for that, including
Tiritiri Matangi. This is an ever better trip if you do it overnight.

I will be there at June. I never been to NZ and doesnt know much about it, my friends told me I should go see the volcanos and take a hot spring. Ive been doing some research and found the GBI has hot spring. Is there somewhere else near Auckland that have hot spring?

Reply to this There are "commercial" hot springs at Waiwera and Parakai where the water is pumped into pools, communal and private. Rotorua has a lot of hot springs but getting there, exploring and getting back to Auckland will take your three days, there is a lot to see there also.
