Well it's been a long time since the last entry. I'm actually in Alice Springs at the moment. I was going to post all this from Cairns, but there was no way I was paying the prices the internet connection providers were asking for wireless access in Cairns. ($10 per hour, come on - it's $3 to $4 per hour everywhere else). Anyhow, I've done a fair bit of travelling up here. From Cairns, past Cape Trib and up the Bloomfield Track to Cooktown, along into Lakefield NP, and along a really fun 4WD track from laura into the old gold mining area of Maytown on the Palmer River. I've also visited the hills around cairns (Kurumba, Atherton, Mareeba) where it's cool and green. Anyhow, have a look at some of the pice. Hope you enjoy.
