Vi har vaert stuck paa en meget ukomfertabel buss i hele natt, kom til airlie Beach i titiden i morningen. Foerste tanken som slo meg da jeg kom ut av bussen var "Neei du koedda, ENDA varmere?!?" Saa ja, her er det antakeligvis 35 grader eller noe saant. Hothothot:) Heldigvis overskyet, kan bli litt i meste laget for en kuldeisolert nordmann. Idag har vi booket oss paa en tre dager og tre netter lang seiltur paa Whitsunday Islands:D Det var et lustusen av baater aa velge mellom, men tilslutt falt valget paa "Freight Train", en 60 feet Pocket Maxi. Det staar her videre at den skal vaere super rask, rommer 18 gjester og 3 mannskap, vant Sydney to Hobart - Maxi Divison i 1983 og har deltatt i baade Kenwood Cup og Bursn Phillip Maxi Boat ... read more

Bribane was zondagochtend leuk om rond te lopen. Even naar een markt geweest, massage genomen om de vermoeide spieren in mijn rug en nek wat los te krijgen, en toen in de botanische tuinen rondgelopen en een museum bezocht. In de middag de bus genomen om naar Hervey Bay te gaan. Daar laat aangekomen want we hadden een uur vertraging. De volgende ochtend al om 06.30 uitchecken en de groep verzamelen. NA een hoop instructies over het eiland, 4WD rijden en Dingoes kregen we de groepsindeling. We waren met 9 personen: Nille, Trina en Diana uit Denemarken, Edward, Garry en Owen uit Ierland en Melanie en Sandra uit Duitsland. After Fraser Island we thought it would be a good idea to save time and money by taking an overnight coach up to Airlie beach, our next stop. This was a nightmare. The coach didn't leave until midnight but we killed time at the local cinema and saw some awful film called big momas house II but we also saw 'Walk the Line' which pretty good. We didn't arrive until 3pm the next day as the coach driver went on some detour. But we made it and checked into a backpackers just outside of town as we had heard that Airlie beach is a bit of a mad party place. HI Everyone, Sorry i have completely got behind with keeping this updated so i am now going to attempt to fill you in on my whole time in Aus - will try to be brief!!! I last updated you when i had just got to Brisbane, as a city i really liked it, but was only there for a couple of days, so not much scandel from there. I did have my first experience of goon (very cheap, slightly dodge wine) , drinking on the balcony with a couple of girls from my dorm - knew i would learn to love it. Well Hello all....it has been so long since my last blog, no idea where to start....so i will just put in some highlights of the last couple months... Dad and Nicci have been here and we had an awesome time....the weather could have been better...i tried to keep them busy which is not hard as there is so much do to here and am sure they would agree....the party never stopped when they got here....i dragged them out with all my friends and Nicci even made some of her own....Dad rocked on to the wee hours of the morning with us also....it isnt hard when you are out with 8 or so girls...lol...so they were here for 3 weeks then the dudes (Matt and Trav ) showed up...."This is where it gets fuzzy" I picked ... read more
