Sarah and I went to see Cinderella at the Opera House tonight. We were told that standing tickets go on sale on the day of the performance for $40 so I went down in the morning and got us two tickets. There are only 10 standing tickets available for each performance and it was the final performance tonight so I was quite lucky to get them. Some friends I met in Fiji wanted to come too and I said I'd try to get them tickets but they only allow you to buy in blocks of two so they couldn't come which was a bit of a shame. We actually got to sit down for the whole show because there were some empty seats and we had better views than a lot of people who had paid ... read more

Nosso ingresso incluia passe ... read more

So Happy New Year to you all. We sat on the steps of the Opera House with about a few million others and watched the spectacular fireworks over the Harbour Bridge. We spent the last few days with my parents in Batemans Bay. They are really in great shape for their age and are still sparking on all cyclinders. Dad can still finish the criptic crossword before I can work out the first clue. Met Cam and Ali at my brothers house and we all watched the foreworks together. So now I am tired and hot and glad to be back in the hotel. Yes finally we are getting some cracking hot weather. Bonzer Beauty as they say here. Just the weather for a cold tinnie . So to all our friends and family may 2008 ... read more

Just another big city really, go see all the sites and spend a lot of money. Suppose the Opera House looks pretty spectacular when it's lit up at night and Telstra stadium is worth a visit too. Beckem played there the week before with LA Galaxy when they got there arses kicked. Went to Bondi but it was a crappy day so didn't even go in the sea. Bumped into Adam Scott from cas, it's a small world and had a couple of messy nights out. Not much else to say really, i guess im just used to cities now, there all pretty much the same and i prefer to be where it's a little less built up. On to Singapore next and then who knows, will keep this upto date from now on though so ... read more

We arrived in Sydney at 7.30pm, so we quickly made our way to the hotel and got out to see the 2 major sights of the city. Ironically, Ricky was so organized but never thought to look up where the hotel was from the station. So after walking around the station for 10 mins lost, we hailed a taxi for the taxi driver to drop us off on the next street! D’oh! Hotel was handy for the station! It was very hot and clammy, funny to think that Melbourne is only an hour’s flight but there is about 4 degrees hotter of a difference. We walked for a bit down George Street which took us all the way to the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. I was surprised by the Opera House as I ... read more
