After a much needed sleep in we got up, dressed for the freezingness but another clear day, grabbed a coffee and Maria and headed up Arthurs Seat! looked steeper and harder than it actually was and was an amazing view from the top! So pretty i have been so so lucky with the weather for all of my travels so far!! think the weather gods are trying to get me to move out of London and to all these diff places! And I cant say im not tempted!! We set the alarm this am to get up for the rugby FINAL!!! And as we all know, not a great game, so intense and stressful but we got there in the end!!! Amazing!! i had Michael and Fedi but making me explain why people played rugby instead of football and how football was a so much better sport! They almost both got a boot up the butt at one point! Fedi was supporting France in his french football shirt while Michael had the all blacks flag drapped across his shoulders yelling and supporting them bless him! :) he was trained well! I woke up feeling much more refreshed today! Michael had school early so I slept in and got up when he camehome for an early lunch! haha :) Was great! We had some swiss rosti for lunch - yum yum! And then after informing me how to get a bus ticket, Michael headed back to school and I went in the direction of the bus stop to begin exploring for the day! Unfortunately when i got to the bus stop, to get a ticket you hadto have coins for the machine and I only had notes! So I planned to get a ticket on the bus. We awoke to Semi Final dayyyy!!! having already scoped out a bar playing the game we grabbed some bagels and headed to The Dubliner to watch! Exciting game, bar pretty much full of kiwis! A few token disappointed aussies but meh! :) Great game and so stoked we could find somewhere to watch it in a non rugby playing country! So we headed off to start our day in high spirits! We unfortunately only had an hour or so of time left in the city following the game so we headed to Old Town and walked around the cute lil shops! We started our adventures this weekend on literally no sleep, after Sarah and I sharing a bed and having to be in golders green for our bus at 2.45am! No dramas with our flights etc and we arrived to an absolutely stunning morning in stockholm tho very cold at 7 deg! Clear skies and super crisp! Beautiful! After checking into our hostel we dumped our bags and headed into the city to begin our day! We stopped in at a cute lil cafe for lunch tasting the local cuisine which was yummy!
