After a much needed sleep in we got up, dressed for the freezingness but another clear day, grabbed a coffee and Maria and headed up Arthurs Seat! looked steeper and harder than it actually was and was an amazing view from the top! So pretty i have been so so lucky with the weather for all of my travels so far!! think the weather gods are trying to get me to move out of London and to all these diff places! And I cant say im not tempted!!
After pretending we were still gymnasts up the top we headed down and went to see where the queen lives when she visits scotland - pretty nice and then wandered the streets again! had a yummy lunch tho not very scottish! And went downtown to go on a tour underground of what edinburgh used to be like before the city was built on top of it! But unfortunately it was sold out 😞 ill have to come back!
So we made our way home, packed and headed out to dinner where I was plannin on trying haggis for the first time! Bit scared but also excited! But we got to the

Irn bru - famous actually quite yuk drink in scotland! restaurant and they werent serving it tonight! 😞 so gutted!! but again...next time! Its a sign I needa come back!
Then had to say goodbye to V and hope its less that 12 years before I see her again this time! 😊 Again naturally caught the wrong bus, had no coins for the next one, thought I was gonna miss my flight, but didnt! 😊 Great weekend but too short! Ill be back! I love Edinburgh! 😊

We ran out of time to do a "hand stand" at the top of Arthurs Seat, But we did enjoy our time looking around Edinburgh. Xx
