Its as easy as ABC.. Thats right Another Bloody Castle! Once you seen one castle you seen em all! haha no not really, every castle is that little bit different and all have their own special features.. Not sure what Dublin Castles are though, this was a rather boring castle I must admit, very big as many people lived inside its walls at one time but yeh not much to see.. I've seen better castles! From Dublin Castle I went off the City Hall which houses an exhibition about the history of the city, this didnt thrill me either or maybe I just really wasnt in a "tourist" mood today.. After City Hall wondered down to the Museum of Archealogy and History.. and yes this bored me too! haha must have been the mood I was ... read more

Tourist trap, the only way I can do justice to describe the Guiness Storehouse, maybe if you had a huge interest in Guiness or something and the process of making it it would be good, but otherwise this would be something I would skip, even though it is an Irish Instution. You do receive a complimentary pint of Guiness, which is great if you can stomach the stuff, personally YUCK! Cant stand it hehe, the view however from the 7th floor is FANTASTIC, You can a 360 degree view of the city and its just sensational. Almost worth paying the entrance fee just for that, but does get extremely crowded.. Something that is equally a tourist trap but that I would actually recommend is the Kilmainham Gaol, this is the biggest unused gaol in the UK ... read more

Didnt work with me but he kept getting these 4 American ladies it was hilarious! have some photos of this tour which i will upload as soon as I can.. Definately something I would recommend doing though.. I tell ya what, I wish I had a laptop with me, the philosophical things that go through my head in the middle of the night would be brilliant if written done, I know I could write them but meh too much effort.. I have survived my first night ever in a hostel and I use the word survive.. I had booked a private room which I was led to believe contained ensuite facilities.. Umm no, first problem, at least I got my private room but without the ensuite facilities that came with it, ok no worries, bathrooms right next door, I can live with that..Managed to score a free towel out of the lovely Tasmanian guy behind the front desk hehe but when I discovered a constantly leaking tap in my room (thats right, a ... read more

Yeh CAl :P Stop telling stories! hehe.. Well here I am in the beautiful Emerald Isle, have liked what I've seen so far which pretty much consists of what I saw out of the plane window and in the taxi on the way here.. OMG You know that Damien Leith song (you know the guy who won Aussie Idol), it was playing on the radio on my taxi ride to my hostel, I said to the taxi driver, if he popular here and he was like who? hehe guess that answers me question, but yes Aussie Idol songs are played on the radio here, granted it might be cos the guy is Irish but who knows.. And OMG when I went through a booked hostels I specifically said private rooms with ensuites.. Guess what?! I got ... read more
