I would like to second your nomination. I always enjoy reading cycling blogs. This blogger does their best to avoid large cities so hopefully you'll enjoy following his travels. Reply to this

Please read at least the first two blogs from new TravelBlogger tickettoride. They're random - his next two, more recent dated, blogs are totally unconnected - but he's so observant and the blogs are extremely well-written. Reply to this

I'd like to nominate DaveandIssy

Dave and Issy Sheehan - a married couple of Maltese and English origins but with a decidely Australian sense of humour. Their writing is more anecdotal than informative.

Just back from a visit to Samoa, they survived falling coconuts, thunderstorms of biblical proportions, over-zealous massages, half-price cocktails and slippery swimming holes in the lava, but now live in fear of the Chinese government monitoring their blogs.

Here's a late addition to the nominations - Stigsil - joined on 13 August and 14 blogs already, all seemingly written on his mobile phone.

However, be warned: it's a tale of a family holiday very full of food and vodka, there are occasional 'f' words and typically-British humour, which some may not understand.

This gruesome picture led to some fascinating insights into life in Belarus:
