In response to: Msg #153357 At the risk of entending the backlog of those already nominated, I want to second the nomination for Mert, as I don't want this one to get lost. Someday I hope to also ride the Trans Siberian/Mongolian train, but NOT in wintertime! Reply to this

Hey guys. Came across haasje78 while researching our next trip and think they are worth a nomination. They have supplied us with some great up to date info while at the same time making us smile. Think they also would be great front page bloggers. Reply to this

It's been a month since I nominated anyone, so here goes: Tina International She is currently working her way around Southeast Asia, and her latest blog is a very nice account of her time in Bali (quite a contract to Nick (Cockle)'s experience there. Great writing and pictures. Reply to this

OK, to give everyone a choice, I am nominating a second blog; this one by Tink And Laura. I have been following Tink and Laura for over a year; since they spent a year teaching English in Korea. What drew me to them is that Tink is a very funny writer...and there is plenty of humor living in the Korean society. After a few months back in England, they are now traveling through Central America. His humorous observations and occasional politically incorrect jabs continue in his latest blog Boquete. One I've started reading: flying kiwis

Was a bit surprised they didn't have more of a following.... Reply to this

I would like to second the nomination for Tina International. She has a few fears listed in her bio but she decided to face them and hit the road.
Tina shares the loss of her grandmother while she was on the road and the emotions she had to deal with, a great salute and a poem she would have appreciated-- very touching.

In response to: Msg #155418 I'll second flying kiwis. Their photos are beautiful and the writing good. I'm going to enjoy their travels around Europe. But I didn't know that kiwis could fly! Reply to this

In response to: Msg #152181 Going back to the original entry in this Forum, so as not to forget these earlier nominations, I would be pleased to second the nomination of fellow Coloradans elJardineros who recently completed a trip as a family to Ireland. I'm looking forward to their soon to come next trip to the Pacific Northwest with their kids. Reply to this

We were attracted by their photos as Ali says and then began to follow their honeymoon. They are having some great experiences.
We would love to third the nomination for blogger of the week.

MJ, you originally nominated them back on January 30, so Ali was actually seconding the nomination. See: In response to: Msg #151173
