Nominate bloggers with 4 or less 'followers' for our Blogger Of The Week award! Nominations are welcome from all, whether you a new Travelblog member or a blogging veteran.
They still have three nominations, so are definitely in the reckoning for the Blogger of the Week Award for the forthcoming week.

Hi Shane,
It is early in the morning here and I would use that as an excuse for my small error....except that I am a morning person and this is when I am supposed to shine. I'm leaving for work soon....maybe this is an omen that I should stay home and read travel blogs all day.
I look forward to reviewing all of this week's candidates. I'm sure it will be a wonderful list.
Maybe we need a new running list?
Have a great day...I'm off to work in a few minutes.

I guess that makes mine a 'third' then ;-)
I was holding off following them to keep them under five recommends, but they were on five this morning, so have jumped on the bandwagon.
Reply to this RENanDREW I would like to nominate these seasoned bloggers who are sharing their world views and wisdom concerning their travels. They have many nice photos. Please consider them for blogger of the week.

Anyone can be nominated for the Award (assuming they have less than five recommends) but to receive the award they need to be currently blogging. So if RENanDREW recommence blogging, they then become eligible again.
Reply to this I'd like to nominate
Keep Smiling for blogger of the week.
A seasoned and well traveled blogger who needs only one more recommendation to hit the front page. He has written more than 70 blogs and traveled to 50+ countries making observations. Not a back packer any more but continues to look for value in his travel.
Please take a look at recommend him if you like his work.
Reply to this I will second
Keep Smiling. They were married the same year Linda and I were, and our travel styles are similar...more flashpacker but still economy minded. However, they are members of the Hall of Fame; which I don't think excludes them from being Blogger of the Week under the present rules. I will hold off Recommending them until their status as being eligible for Blogger of the week is confirmed.
Reply to this Thanks for the nomination and second, and though it is a great suggestion, Hall of Fame inductees are not eligible for Blogger of Week. However, it can (and has) worked in reverse. When a Blogger of the Week is subsequently placed in the Hall of Fame.

Yes, I'd forgotten or had not recently noticed that Keep Smiling has received the Hall of Fame award. Clearly, people enjoy his work so I find it odd he is still missing the 5th recommendation to hit the front page. Hopefully, some one will do that this week.
Thanks for the heads up.

I'm living life as widely as I can; going where the wind takes me. I have an open heart that only wants to love and an open mind that only wants to learn. My ultimate goal in life is to be a wise old woman sitting in a rocker, spinning tales of adventure and, hopefully, inspiring others to go out and LIVE!
Forgive me any assumptions, I tell it as I see it. ...
