Hi everyone
Im alex and thought i should join as will be heading off travelling again pretty soon and figure its a good way to pick everyones brain for suggestions. i have spent the past 6 months living and working in Sydney. I have been staying in an apartment run by Sleeping With The Enemy (definately recommend them to anyone heading this way). Have had an awesome stay but its time to get moving - bit apprehensive but excited at the same time.

This is the first time I heard of Staycation. I presume people do something during their staycations to make up for not getting away.

My boyfriend and I will be in Thailand from 28th December until 4th January. We are unsure of where to get to for new year and or where is a good spot to relax and enjoy a few big nights as well.
Can anyone recommend any good destinations ???
