Nous voilà enfin arrivée à Miami suite à une navigation de 20 heures en mer de Fort Pierce à Miami La semaine derniere. Nous profitons de Miami pour compléter nos derniers achats à faire avant d'arriver au Bahamas. On en profite ici, car une fois arrivée au Bahamas le cout de la vie sera très dispendieux. Nous sommes allés visiter un vétérinaire pour Rubia, car avant son entrée au Bahamas elle doit être vu 48 heures par un veterinaire afin de s'assurer qu'elle ne soit pas porteuse de maladie..... Au moment, ou on écrit ses lignes il nOus reste quequelques heures au Etats-Unis. Nous quitterons Miami cette nuit (16 nov) a minuit pour les Biminis avec l'equipage de Magie. Miami Beach - the area was a lot less glamorous than Annie has expected but Scott thought it was a cool place. The beach itself was nice with loads of unique life guard huts and clean water. After our first dip in the Atlantic Ocean we strolled along the streets of shops and restaurants and grabbed some $2 tacos. We walked along the shore and took advantage of our last chance to sunbathe on this trip. We are afraid to tell you all that we have had a burger king every night since we got here because it is directly across the street :) Tonight Scotty went out with a bang by having a double cheese burger, a chicken sandwich, some chicken nuggets and some fries…Augustus the Great! Day 52-Nat and loz wake up at 7am and head to ocean dr for an amazing breakfast. Went to the gator park, everglades tour on the hovercraft. Nat and loz both get excited holding a baby gator. Had gator tail for lunch and would not recommend it! Both slept on the coach home like babies. Went shopping in miami, ate chicken bites. Went to South beach for a sunbathe and swim. Never seen a beach so packed and jivin!!Came home and the door was still broke, loz kicked off with the manager. Nat had a cat nap. That evening had a meal on ocean drive with big cocktails. Så er der billeder! + en video. I dag har vi været en tur i Dolphin Mall og shoppe. NØJ det er stort! Jeg fik købt et par sko(endelig). Herefter tog vi ud til South Beach i Miami, hvor vi skal tilbringe de næste 4 nætter, i det nok mest populære og berømte område i Miami. Søger man på "Miami" på Google, vil der komme rigtigt mange billeder af dette område. Det er her de hvide sandstrande ligger, med de gamle, flotte art deco-bygninger, som agerer hoteller, restaurenter og barer. Vi bor i en af de flotte bygninger på den turist-prægede Collins Avenue, som ligger ca. 300 meter fra stranden. June 21stSo after a very eventful night for Richard, losing his phone and all, he thought it would be a good idea to get a replacement. An iPad. I think he had a little bit of iPad envy that spurred to make this purchase. To be fair you need something for the buses to keep you sane and distracted from the window lickers on the greyhound. So we headed off onto a pretty long walk to find the nearest apple shop to buy rich an IPad. We arrived, rich took forever trying to pick which IPad he wanted.
