um... seeing as there is no real coherent order to any of this, I'm going to attempt to make sense of it by using point form... -Ash and I went to London... ok... so far this makes sense. -Trekked out to a dodgy part of the burbs to a dingy pub on Friday night -Got ourselves in on the door list and it turned out the Panda Band were playing there! -Also saw "The Spinto Band" and met their manager/A&R-dude man. -He'd seen me in Manchester and bought Ash & I beers. -Our trip had already been worth it! -After gig met Mike and all of his industry cronies out the front and mingled. -Threw a couple of our demos around to important looking people -Got invited but a dude to come to Nashville and 'chill ... read more

hey, well i havnt written in a while cause well im just chillin in edinburgh.. and letting my money slowley run out!!... ahh im becoming soo poor!! ive been casually looking for work but cash work isnt soo popular up here... requires more effort than i have put in soo far! im going this arvo to help a lady clean her house for some cash!.. staying at the hostel is lots of fun and meeting loads of nice ppl..# ash and charlie just got back from london where they were mingling with some music industry ppl.. im sure charlie will post a blog soon with all the goss. lots of love alaya... read more

Lynfielders, It was a warm wednesday evening and one of the greatest football teams in the world (Chelsea) were playing a Carling Cup game against London rivals Charlton. Mr. James Paterson has a membership with this so-called great club and so he managed to get hold of some good tickets and take Paul, Aaron & his brother Tim along with him. It was a great night, although the result was not liked by some (Chelsea lost 5-4 on penalties after being 1-1 at the end of extra-time). Mum (Bev Reilly), came over to visit (whilst on a work trip), and stayed with us for 2 1/2 weeks. It was great to see her and spend some time with her, we both loved having her, but would love to see Dad here next time too. We were a little spoilt while she was here, feasting on pre dinner drinks and nibblies, having dinner ready for us after work, drinking copious amounts of wine.....not to mention the care package she bought with her for us. Mum and I went on a little mother and daughter road trip for a few days and Justin met up with us in Bath for a weekend. Well, I’m going to go ahead and post these pictures without much text; they may never get posted if I wait until I have time and am in the mood to write something. I’ll try to add some description in later. ------------- London is an AWESOME town . . . but very expensive. My favorite things in London were getting to see my cousins, Sunday services at Westminster Abbey, and seeing Ewan McGregor act live Guys and Dolls. It was really weird to be in an English speaking country after not being in one for so long.
