today's routine...eating, railway booking, playing in department store..... 2148 Hostel ... read more

It was a convertable Beetle and my friend Adriane and I good naturedly nick named it "Hitler" because it was German and it was evil ie: it broke down all the time (my parents had to replace the motor twice) anyway where I am now I would probably do myself good not to repeat that story, and since it was a 70's Beetle chances are it was Brazilian. A day of intense rail travel from Brussels involving a freezing stop over in Leige, where we wondered why rain was coming down through the roof of the train staion only to discover the roof was merley a shell - fantastic, found us in Bonn, a town in which we could stay in a real house whilst visiting our dear friend Aidan. When we got to the station ... read more

1.6.06 0040 Good Night, and Good Luck My goal for when I have to wake up at the ungodly hour of 0500 is to wake up sweating… 2245 After this the rest is just bullshit… My 11th grade class this morning was talking about stereotypes. It was interesting to hear what people had to say about America…most of them were true though. But then again maybe not. One kid said, “most Americans are fat.” I wouldn’t disagree with that statement. Another kid said, “Americans eat fast food all the time.” Yet again, I wouldn’t disagree with that. I’m not fat and honestly can’t remember the last time that I ate fast food…not a big fan. I am not that discriminatory about different foods but I am when it comes to quality. Hey, this body is a ... read more

Munich, Germany: STOP THE RAIN! We have yet to experience a full day without rain, and our first days in Munich were by no means an exception. Not only did it rain, it rained significantly harder and longer than it has before. The temperatures dropped into the low 40s for most of the time, only peaking at a maximum of about 55 during the afternoon when the rain subsided. Whatever we did to deserve almost 2 weeks straight of rain, we are truly sorry. When we woke up our first morning in Munich, the wind was blowing and the rain was pouring. It was so bad that we were forced to abandon the bike tour that we had been planning to go on. It would have been a miserable ride through the city, and the wind ... read more

Today's programme... waiting for train, waiting for the opening of Düsseldorf LTU Arena, waiting for the coming of the players... 45,000 visitors, the paper says, and we were the 2 among them. VIDEO-DFB Open Training At the end of the training session, Tim Borowski kicked the ball to the seats, and it falled in my hands! I can't believe it! But since I didn't grab it like a rebound in a 'basketball way', the person standing behind me 'stole' it from my hands... forget it, I don't know how to get it back to Hong Kong if I really had it... 1943 U78 7-13°C 冷 剛從LTU Arena乘U-Bahn離去,很冷。 ... read more

Dear everybody I’m in germany now, my german is not as good as i thought it was, everybody speaks so fast here and it’s quite difficult to understand (and they dont serve beer at mcdonalds) The plane ride’s were uneventful, I read some books, magazines.. basically everything I could get my hands on… checked my watch, and we´d been flying for about an hour.. long time to go. I also managed to spill curried fish all over myself during turbulence, although I certainly didn’t allow my beer to spill. Japan was beautiful. Japanese people are too polite, but I could get used to it I guess. It took me about an hour to order my meal, everything was in japanese ?!!? it was impressively easy to order a beer however. The airport was beautiful but it ... read more
