Hi,
I'm a Dutch girll doing some research for my schoolproject about the Blauwestad in the Netherlands.

For this project we have to find out how to attract more German tourist to this place.
Who can help me out?

So first of all I would like to know if anyone ever been/seen or heared (through commericals or family, etc) of the Blauwestad? It's a Region in the east of Groningen, they digged there a huge lake a couple of years ago and set up a lot of different businesses around that lake.

If you have been there, did you like it, did it provide what you were looking for in you holiday?

Furthermore, where do you usually go when you go on holidays to the Netherlands, and why?

Which German magazines or television should they advertise (more) in, so more people in Germany get aware of the Blauwestad.

Any answer to these question(s) is of great help!
Thank you all!

No, never heard of it. Is it in the TravelBlog database?

Furthermore, where do you usually go when you go on holidays to the Netherlands, and why?

I usually go to Neimaken and Grave(not sure if I spelled either of those correctly) because it is where my boyfriends family live. I have also been in Amsterdam quite a lot, because I have taken international flights in and out of there.

I dont know. You could make a TravelBlog blog to advertise it to travellers in general though, if you want.

Hi,
"So first of all I would like to know if anyone ever been/seen or heared (through commericals or family, etc) of the Blauwestad?"
No. Never heard of.
"Where do you usually go when you go on holidays to the Netherlands, and why?"
Noordwijk, because it is the nicest place by the coast to be reached quickly from Essen, Ruhrgebiet. Domburg, because it is a pretty village by the sea loctaed in Zeeland, eventually the most attractive Dutch region.
"Which German magazines or television should they advertise (more) in, so more people in Germany get aware of the Blauwestad"
Daily Newspaper: WAZ (the newspaper for the Ruhrgebiet), Europe's biggest regional daily newspaper
Radio: WDR, the governmantal radio for Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany's most populated federal state - not far away from Blauwestad); NDR, the governmantal radio for Niedersachsen (the federal state which is closest to Blauwestad)
Magazin: Stern, Bunte (popular magazines for young/old/families)
TV: ARD/ZDF (governmental TV), RTL (most popular private TV)
In general: I would concentrate on the Ruhrgebiet region, because its not so far away and you reach approx. 5 million people who like to spend holidays in The Netherlands.
