Over the next couple of days in Croatia, our trusted little car really was a life saver! We ventured back into the city of Zadar ,and also drove 1 and a half hours to Split for a day. One evening in Zadar we discovered something very cool, Zadar's sea organ and sun salutation. These can both be found by the sea. The sea organ is basically a series of metal tubes placed underneath the waterfronts steps. When the water moves in and out of the tubes, it forces air out playing music in the process. You can hear this in one of the videos we have added. This is literally all that is happening for that music to be made, crazy! It really is a beautiful place to visit, especially at night when you can sit ... read more

I take a very early train to Split from Zagreb. After about a six hour train ride, I arrive in Split. Split lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea, and what I first notice is how beautiful the landscape is, and the Adriatic Sea was breathtaking. By the time I arrive, it is around lunch, and the streets were full of tourists both in vehicles and on foot. Split is one of the oldest cities in the area, and it is traditionally considered just over 1,700 years old. It looks modern at first walking from the train station to my hostel, however once I cross the street walking towards Diocletian's Palace on the main strip, it looked like both an older city on the right hand side of the strip, and something you would ... read more

So the Busabout Tour leg of the journey has ended here in Croatia and and I was very sad to say goodbye to the people we met. I have definitely made a few friends for life and already have plans to meet with a few in London, Bristol and have open invites to Australia and America (which I will definitely be taking them up on!) We spent our last afternoon and evening wondering around the beautiful city of Split taking in the ancient palace and losing ourselves in the maze of city walls, small streets and markets. This morning, the 3 of us and a couple of our new found British friends headed around the harbour to the "beach" (a collection of large uncomfortable boulders!) But the water and view is beautiful so no complaints! I ... read more

On Wednesday, I got up hours before the crack of dawn to get ready for my 6am flight to Split, Croatia. I made sure I was downstairs early, awaiting the cab that the hotel had organized for my departure. 20 min. later, I was tired of waiting, and getting anxious. I wasn't sure what to do, as I had decided to wait outside the small hotel, and the door behind me had locked. I figured if the cab didn't arrive in the next 10 min., that I would walk to the nearby gas station and hail one. Finally, the cab arrived and I made it to the airport with no further delay. I checked in without a hitch, and was surprised that no one checked my passport at the bag drop off, or at security (where ... read more

Så for å gå over broen må man opp en ... read more

Kampın o günkü ha... read more

Gözünün dibine baka baka ve kırmızı kart görünce sahayı ağ... read more

Heute war also Sightseeingtag in Split.
