Spontaneous Winter Camping Trip in Yosemite

So, this was completely last minute. An article popped up the Yosemite Facebook page about Tenaya Lake freezing over WITH Tioga Pass simultaneously still open... something that NEVER happens. So hundreds of Yosemite enthusiasts were flocking to the lake just to run all over it. lol, uh duh, how could I miss out on this opportunity?! I was worried no one would be interested or able to go, but lo and behold, seven us undertook the VERY EFFING COLD journey. We camped at Upper Pines in the Valley, also something I never get to do.
