Camping and Playing Tourist in Santa Cruz and Big Basin

Chris and I are working again to get our kid into camping. She's a year older now (she'll be two next month), and we're hoping this summer things go much better. She stays up later, only takes one daily nap and is a bit more flexible. We're planning to take one of the train rides at Roaring Camp in Felton, grab lunch and then set up camp up at Big Basin our first day (check in isn't until 2pm!). We will have a full day up at Big Basin on Saturday- I'm not sure what we'll get up to but probably lots of walking and maybe some ranger programs. And then Sunday we'll likely hit the beach before heading home.
