Roadtrip to Portland and Emigrant Springs State Park in Oregon

My brother's concept of planning is adorable to observe. It's not that he can't think critically. It's just that you can give him and me the same set of dots, and we'll connect them completely differently to produce our own pictures. I prefer to plan against problems- he deals with them as they come. Ahaha. Funny kid. That being said- the trip was alot of fun! I drove up to Newberg on Wednesday, where David lives. We stayed that first night in one friend's house. The next morning we picked up Galen at the Portland airport, spent the first half of the day touring downtown Portland and then the rest of the day we shopped. That night we slept at a different house- David's friend Jade. The next morning we packed up, and drove off with ourselves, Kirsten, Jade and Jess to Emigrant Springs State Park to camp for a couple days. =) Galen and I quickly discovered we were camping with a bunch of newbs.
