Everyone asks us why in the world we'd want to go storm watching, and then how we ever came up with this particular place. Well, I've been storm watching with my mom as a kid, and watching the fury of ocean waves crash against rocks is pretty damn beautiful and terrifying. As for why The Wickaninnish in Tofino... So the network brought them to all these off the beaten track places instead of the usual Hawaii or other paradise. One of the places was The Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino. And it's been on our bucket list ever since. I've been watching the weather for weeks so let's pray it's particularly nasty.
