No alarm and woke up at 9.30 today. Decided to walk along beachfront looking for breakfast by heading right instead of left this time. Soon came across a couple of restaurants. Went to Ocean Blue and ordered the special for $4.50. For that price I got Bali gold coffee pot, large glass of pineapple juice, scrambled eggs on toast with sausage, tomato, a bowl of fruit mixed with yoghurt and muesli (yummy), and a bread basket which had two slices of different bread, a croissant and a slice of banana bread. Woke up to find it was raining slightly outside and sky looked pretty threatening. Made me realise I have failed to detail any weather for the trip so far. I can say it has been the same every day. Rather predictable. Overcast with sun trying to peek through every now and then, temps from 25-31 and very humid. If I don’t say anymore, you can presume the weather is unchanged ! Started off the day by dropping off laundry nearby. Only $20-for 7.2kg to be ready for collection tonight. Went to breakfast at a place nearby. Alarms off at 7.30 for a 8.15 pick up for our Bali Baik Tours. Had the usual fruit platter as well as scrambled eggs for breaky and finished just in time as the tour bus arrived perfectly on time and soon we headed off in a mini van along with another family of 4 from Wollongong of all places !. First stop was the coffee plantation where we sampled a range of coffees and teas. Elise love the Mangoeseen Tea so we bought some. They had this special coffee that they raved about but I did not try it. They have an animal like a possum that is nocturnal and it scoures the ground and eats “only the best coffee beans”. Well I struggled to sleep through the night, and woke up early around 5am I think. I could not resist the temptation to check out the golf progress. No TV coverage but iPad had live scoring so into the toilet I go to check out the progress. Great news Jason Day birdies 3 holes on the back 9 to take the lead, but then gives two of them back. Adam Scott birdies the 18th to take the lead with one group to play. Bugger, Angel Cabrera birdies 18 and we have a play off. Common sense kicks in and I return to bed. Well we had nothing planned for our last day but there was one thing in the back of my mind we might do and that is shopping at the outlets in Citadel. After breaky I make sure they are open, and then arranged a hire car at the Budget place right across the road from our Hotel . It took about 30 minutes to get there and the freeways were flowing OK in our direction anyway. We went to most of the shops here but Luke was looking for an NBA jersey and they had none at all.
