Traveling from Brisbane to LAX then across to Washington DC where we will be staying for 3 nights in Virginia near the Pentagon. We then take the drive up to New York via Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We will be on a Carnival Cruise to Eastern Carribean from NYC then fly to Denver for 4th July and then start our Wild West road trip visiting the following states Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Utah before flying back to LAX and home again.
In total we will visit 14 new states as we work towards seeing all of USA's 50 states. Whilst in NYC we will see a Yankees game, a Broadway show or two. Our cruise will be visiting Puerto Rico, US Virgin Isalnds and Turks and Caicos Island. The road trip will include visiting Mt Rushmore, Deadwood (famous for Calamity Jane), Buffalo and Cody made famous by Buffalo Bill and Yellowstone National Park as we enter from the Beartooth Highway (USA # 1 scenic drive). Road trip ends in Salt Lake City after driving through Grand Teton National Park.
