First off let me apologize for not posting sooner. I had wrote and entire blog and when i went to save it and post it and the website was down so i lost the entry. March 3rd Today i caught the bus to Munie. It was only a 4 hr drive but to me it felt like forever because the night before Albert and i had gone out to get some sushi and the chef had snuck a massive glob of wasabi in mine. Lets say spicy food makes me loose. haha So the last 15 mins till we got to our first rest stop was torcher as well as the last 15 till we finally made it to Munie. During the trip the Swiss woman next to me and i some how started talking to ... read more

Feb 26 I am headed for Vietnam today. I had a 15 min hike with a 40lb pack on my back to the subway then a 40 min subway ride to get to the airport. Once i finally arrived and checked in i got some breaky. I just picked something of the board. It turned out to be small fried fish hot spices and rice.ehhh. Normally i try and choke down what ever i order but it was probably 9 am and i couldn't handle spicy and fishy food that early so i chucked it and went for the soft boiled eggs and some toast with coconut butter. much better choice. The plane was on time and everything went smoothly. When i walked out of the airport there was Albert (Dana's dad, an old high school ... read more

Feb 23 Singapore So my plane was about an hour late or so but i eventually made it to Singapore. I managed to take the subway to a stop near Jay K's house and then walked about 20 mins or so to his place. Along the way there was a local food court so i stopped for some roast duck and rice. It was pretty good. Once i got to Jays place it was pretty late so i checked out my replacement camera and hit the sack. Feb 24 Today i had a lot planed. Fist off was some local spot for breaky. I had my first soft boiled eggs and what they called French toast loaf. It was pretty good some sort of sugar cain jelly or something inside. After breaky i walked down the ... read more

Feb 19 I wasn't sure what i was going to do the next few days. I had originally hoped to go to a small island near Bali for a day tour or something or maybe surf one or two more days. However my feet were hurting so bad i decided i would just rest and save some money. So i spent most of the am catching up on 20+ emails form last week. After spending a few hours on the internet i decided to get something to eat but was running low on money. Then it dawned on me if i wait to sell my board and spear gun until the last day i will have alot of Rupia left over. That i would have exchange and not get a great price for it. So rather ... read more

Feb 6th Friday I Called Gede my driver to take me back to Nusa Dua. Today the surf was all over the place peaking everywhere, it wasn't as big, and there were a number of people out so kind of hard to get waves especially when people either pull out once there almost in or can't even get in. I saw Rachel and Ryan out in the water i didnt ask about Katie but only assuming she went to Sumatra. Man Ryan is a lucky guy hot as surfer chick girlfriend to travel with and she shreds. I got speared by some dude today as i was paddling back out. Normally i paddle into the brunt of the wave so the have a good line unless im really close or dont know if they will make ... read more

Feb 2. Today started at 5 am wake up for my flight to Bali. Which was a small 25 row plane and it wasn't even half full id say. I was planing on walking out of the airport and hailing a taxi as i normally do because they are way cheaper generally half price but as a walked outside it started poring so i sucked it up and went with the guys at the airport of course after some haggling, i got an ok price. I didn't have a hotel/hostel booked so i got dropped off where i told him i had one and then just walked around a bit to find the cheapest. I got one with 2 beds and a shower for under 8 a night with a small breakfast included. I decided to ... read more

Jan 27 Today was a down day again. I searched the internet for a new camcorder and then tom and i wet out to camera shops in perth. No luck though, Everything is so expensive over here. That night was interesting though. Toms mom made a sweet coccus. Then we collected the honey. Yes toms family has a bee hive as well as a vineyard and a olive plantation i guess thats what youd call it. Any way Tom's dad got all suited up, aka long sleeves gloves and a bee hat, and began smoking the hive. He would grab one brush some bees off and then hand them to us to brush the rest of the bees off to bring inside. It was comical with Andreas little brother running around Andrea and myself trying to ... read more

So I finally made it out of Fiji. As i was walking out of customs i got interviewed by 2 New Zealand news channels, asking me about the current conditions in Fiji. I dont think i made the air tough i tried looking online but i think the used a native NZer instead. So i hopped on the bus to get to town and along the way i was getting so excited a rush of adrenaline came over me it felt like i was coming home. I managed to get a bed in the same hostel i had stayed in back in 06 so memories and nostalgia came over me. I went for a walk about through the city to check it out and jog memories. Seeing bars, restaurants, shops and special clubs i had been ... read more
