March 3  Day 47 Today we had a 6 hour or so bus day. We drove from ghanzani Botswana to natashia nambibia. The boarder crossings went super smooth.  When we got to the city we had a few hours to do some errands I did some Internet and s bit of shopping and walked around the beautiful city. It was very nice, clean and westernized. It felt/looked like flordia.  We didn't have to camp here we stayed at a hostel so we all shared a dorm from the night. We picked up 5 more passangers tonight as well. A 38 year old Brit Simon a Canadian couple late 20s ealry 30s Lindsey and Ryan and then a older couple margerita from Portugal and ruldolph from Germany. Feb 24  Day 40 Today we got up and had a slowish morning we were hoping the weather would hold up for us to go do our big air experience. Around 10 or so we caught a taxi to the bridge, where we had to walk through a small customs point to get on the bridge itself. After we signed our life away we were off. First up was the flying fox zip cord thing. It was nothing exilerating but a beautiful view. Then we were rifled through the bungy and the gorge swing. They were trying to push us through so they could go to lunch. I did the George swing first. It was actually a decent rush and fall. I lost my breadth abit. It hink it was 140 meters or something. Awsa did ... read more

Then the girls and I were debating on trying to do some kayaking or snorkling that avo. But as time was not on our side we just ended up sitting on the beach chatting until dinner time. I think I found my profession though the girls dad is an outdoor PE teacher. He takes kids on hikes, raftit, kayaking, surfing ect. Sounds like an awesome gig especially sine I wantted to be a normal PE teacher this one would be even better. Might have to find an Ozzie wife.  Shelly and I built the camp fire that night ... read more

Jan 28  Day 13 Well I didn't sleep that well especially in he morning when it was freezing out but I didn't mind to much becaue it was so neat/cool to just sleep in a hammok under the stars. I got up early and did a work out to get my blood pumping.  We had a quick breaky and headed for lake navasha. We arrive around 5 hours later to a camp called fish eagle inn, where we wuickly made lunch and then went on a walkig safari which we had to pay for out of pocket.  We got to go on a little boat ride and see some hippos, although they were under water and all you could see was the top of their face and ears. Jan 25 Day 10 Today I woke up early had some coffee and caught up on here while sitting overlooking the beautiful village below us. After everyone woke up we had some breaky then went to the hill called "top of the world" to play some soccer with the local kids. The walk was a beautiful stroll through the village holding hands with some local kids swinging them about. Once we finally made it to the top a few of us jumped in the game with the locals. Maydeena and I on one side Paul and Kathy on the other. It was so much fun but it did make us realize how out of shape we were and how terrible at soccer we were. Haha I did manage to get lucky and score a goal for ... read more

Jan 24 Day 9  Today we headed for Bwindi impenitrable rain forest to see the gorilas after a delicois breaky provided by the camp of course. It was a 45 min drive or so to the entrance point. Once we arrived they signed us in with the permits and gave us a briefing then we were on our way for our trek. Before we left we took bets on how long it would take us to get to the gorillas.  Although the trek was super wet, muddy and steep I througly enjoyed it. We were hopping from patch of brush to rocks to brush to whatever to avoid the stream of water in the path. It eventually dried up the higher we got. We hiked up 2 ridges before we heard word from the trackers.  The way ... read more
