Sometimes bad luck leads to good things. We never really intended to go on this trip, it just happened due to circumstances. Scott's job situation was less than ideal and he just wanted an escape. The obvious choice? Backpacking around the world again of course! This time, we revisited lots of our favorite places such as tubing in Vang Vieng and the full moon party on Ko Phagnan. We went back to Africa but tried some new places including some very scary whitewater rafting at the source of the Nile and the Zambeesi, walking with lion cubs in Zimbabwe, and visiting the iconic Vic Falls. We returned to India for a third time and had the scariest bus ride of our lives in the Himalayas, and saw some of the nicest beaches anywhere in the isolated Andaman islands. We even decided to really change things up and traveled up to Egypt, Jordan, and then over to eastern Europe. Finally, we ended our trip exploring central America.
