Second Round the World Trip

After completing my teaching credential in California, it was time to hit the road again. This time we had an excuse - we planned to get married on Ko Phi Phi island in Thailand. Unfortunately, the devastating tsunami that hit the area in 2004 made it difficult to send out wedding invitations to a place so much in the news headlines, so we instead relocated the wedding to Bali. This trip, we visited some of our old favorite places in SE Asia, as well as explored some new and exciting places including our first African safaris, our first live-aboard dive trip, and getting up close and friendly with dolphins and quokkas in Western Australia.
