I feel so lucky! Maybe it was karma again, or just pure luck, but i almost didnt make it home! I took the bus to school today and went to my favorite coffee shop. After reading for a bit i decided to walk to westlake and just stroll around. I tried going to one of my favorite restaurants across the lake called "the grandmas" but the line was out the door and i didnt want to wait. I was losing daylight and wanted to make sure i caught a bus back home. I settled for pizza hut, thinking i would get a small personal pizza. It was so fancy! Ok, its been awhile! Sorry everyone! Well today was a sad day because my roomslice Joohee left to Korea :( she had been my rock this whole trip, i am going to miss her dearly!! After saying goodbye to her and watching her drive off in a taxi, i decided i should try taking the bus to my hostel, instead of taking a taxi. I was thinking it would save money and i thought i was down with an adventure.. Haha. I had my huge backpack all rigged up with my hula hoops, shoes and hats, with my sleeping bag hanging on the bottom. Today it is pouring! It is the first time it has rained since WuYiShan. I desperately need to add minutes to my phone, but it is a very far walk and I am not sure an umbrella would even make a difference in this type of weather. I usually dont mind the rain, but I had plans on Hula Hopping and going on a hike, which I can not do now =(. I am starting on my Quarter Report for class, so my blogs may be short and sweet for a little while. I love you all but must go now. Rain is in the forecast for a whole week =( ! Today was smooth sailing. Although i didnt wake up until 9 30 and i wanted to wake up at 8, i still had a very successful day :) joohee and i found this trail behind the library that was basically 700 steps just straight up the mountain. We trekked up there around 10 30 so it was starting to get hot. My legs were still sore from my run 2 days ago, so it was an intense climb. But the burn felt good and im glad we found it! Afterward we grabbed some fruit from the crazy banana lady and showered back at our dorm. I went over to the school canteen by myself and grabbed some egg fried rice for lunch and caught the end of the denver vs. oakland b-ball game. The chinese boys ... read more
