We had a great time today at Magic Kingdom however we cut it short because Maya is not feeling so well. I'm pretty sick myself although Maya and I have 2 totally different illnesses. I've got an annoying cough and really congested. Maya is feeling nauseous and tired. She feels better in air-conditioned places. It's pretty hot here during the day but today was somewhat humid and very gray. At least it didn't rain. Even with us being sick we're still trying to make the most of the day. We're still having fun. We tried to squeeze what we could manage into Magic Kingdom in the very few hours we were there on day 1 so we could focus on some exciting things we've got planned for day 2. It was another open till close day but this time at Animal Kingdom. Wow so much to do. My Maya is Miss Animal Lover so she definitely had a great time. There was a parade of the Disney characters, we went on a bunch of rides, played games at a carnival, went on safari's and watched The Life of a Bug 3D movie...what a laugh that was with Maya. She was trying to grab at them all the time. Some parts were scary....but she was so brave and stuck it out. LOL Edyta...Once my hunnies are down for the night it's MY TIME. It was a very HOT! and gorgeous day today! Perfect for Epcot. What an amazing start to the Disney Parks. We got there super early and left at dark. We did everything at Epcot except "Soarin" a pretty major ride to miss but we just couldn't fit it in. But other than that we had Epcot covered. This beginning of Disney has Maya all up in fantasy land. She's really loving it and I love nothing more than watching her through all of this. Her squeals of laughter and her facial expressions have me in a world of my own. She was running and jumping all over the place in search of her favourite Disney characters. We could barely keep up. What a disaster this morning. We woke up this morning with 10cm of fresh snow on the ground in Milton and it was still coming down. The drive down to Kathy's was horrendous. What normally takes us 15 minutes took over an hour and a half. The traffic was unreal. Of course we didn't make it to the airport the two hours before departure time like we were supposed to. But thanks to Kathy's awesome agressive driving maneuvers she got us there 50 minutes before departure. The check in line was looooong but someone in line told us that there was an agent out there looking for Orlando passengers so we got to bypass the check in line....which we definitely needed considering we still had to go through Customs. hey hey guys ... how things been goin back at home??mum and dad have said that it has been raining non stop for the past couple of days.. thats pretty good better then the weather here.. it is sooooo cold.. i have been wearing about 5 layers of clothes which i hate i miss the sun so much i cant wait to get home and go straight to the beach.. the nearest beach here is about an hours drive and cause i dont have a car over here i havent been to the beach.. are there still crocodiles at the beach or have they gone?? the only news america plays about australia is the bush fires in perth and the guy that got bitten by a shark and survived.. but yeah i really cant wait to ... read more
