Curious about something as I write a novel.
When you get a US Passport at one of the on-site issuing agencies, about how long does it take from the time you turn in your paperwork until you leave with your passport? Assume a first-time passport with no problems. LA Regional Office, if you have personal experience there. Thanks. Reply to this

Don't know about LA but I was able to get a passport in one hour in Denver for $60 beyond the regular price.
