I am going travelling in February, starting in Thailand, then heading to Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada!! I shall be travelling for 6 months altogether returning by August 2012. I shall be spending 1 month in South East Asia, 2 and a half months in Australia, 1 month in New Zealand and 6 weeks in USA and Canada, 3 weeks on the east and west coasts each.

I'm a young American professional male in my early 30's, whose greatest passion is nature and traveling the world, experiencing new places and cultures. Travel budget is typically on the low end, but I always throw in some higher class hotels in along the way. Most trips consist of a constant travel, with 1-3 nights in each town. Typically go on one 2-week trip every year, another week long adventure also, and as many extended weekends as possible. Trips tend to focus more on the outdoors than city life and museums, but I get a mix of everything depending on where my travels take me.

I've been to China (not on a slow boat..), Singapore, Hongkong, Mid-Americas, Some Mid-East (Jordania, Syria), Australia & NZ but I'm keen to discover more adventures & cultures. I see my path but I don’t know where it leads, not knowing where I am going is what inspires me to travel it. I’m a smiler by nature, an Event Manager (ahem…student event manager) by trade, traveller by choice, 22 years old and from Northumberland in the UK. Seeing the world has always been on my mind…and I mean always! First opportunity I had I was off! Chasing the dream with my life on my back I’m not quite sure where my inspiration to travel came from…but it was whilst I was still at school which gave me my first taster. My biology teacher, who I had always liked because she was the most human teacher at the school, was planning a conservation trip to Honduras. Sign me up! A lot of fundraising and a few jabs with a needle later and I was off! This spurred me on to plan my next trip…finished school, worked and saved like a crazy women and dusted off my backpack! Big thing about me…I have an addiction, I can’t help it and it will never go away, I add to my bucket list constantly and always have a plan to tick off the next thing. Interests Cocktails, Eating, Hiking, Meeting New People, Partying, Swimming, Elephants, Sleeping, Diving, Smiling, Teddy Bears, Funny Travel Stories, Telling Bad Jokes and then laughing hysterically at them. I have been bitten by the travel bug so stamp me up!
