Being an American, growing up in the Western World with all the superficial benefits, I believe if I was to do anything it is to try to understand and experience life outside of the day to day Western life, outside of this bubble and across the fortress walls.
I guess I am just starting this journey. When I was fifteen I went to Italy for two weeks by myself. Then when I graduated high school at 17, I went to Europe for several months.
So this is my experience....I only hope it urges others to get over their fears of these parts of the world and see all that is truly beautiful and good. [View Full Information]
