Hi Everyone or should I say the lucky few who will be able to access my travelling blog.
Yes I had a flash of "something"; madness most probably, and decided to retire. I think it had a lot to do with my hip actually as it is getting worse and so it is travel now or never it seems.
The school took it on the chin and after finding someone to replace me that of course was less capable and less efficient than myself, I found myself fully into planning my amazing intrepid journeys through Asia. I read somewhere that one needs to live like it is your last day and to learn like you will need the information forever. Hmm Something like that anyway. I do know that the timing feels right and I am up for the challenge so enjoy my blog eh!!

we're having the time of our life. as much as we love our home, the desire to visit new and old places has burned within us since we were in college. only a few states in the US that we haven't visited and many that we want to revisit. during Craig's career importing hardwood lumber, he traveled to Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, E and W Malaysia, Taiwan and Indonesia. before she met Craig, Toni traveled every summer to Europe, Mexico and Southeast Asia. we've been to Hawaii many times and driven to Mulege in Baja, Mexico. England, Ireland and Scotland are real favorites of ours. we took the train across Canada. Craig's fished in Alaska and we both took the Alaskan Marine Fairy up the inland passage from Ketchikan to Skagway.

Salut ! Je m'appelle Loann, cet été 2012 je prévois de faire un road trip en Europe, avec pour seul compagnon mon sac à dos. Aller là où le vent me porte, tel sera mon leitmotiv.
