Gunga for blogger of the week. She writes wickedly funny and informational blogs. A retired educator that likes to travel the road less traveled. And....finally....she is now including photos. ( Sorry Carolyn, couldn't help myself)

Reply to this In response to: Msg #188731 I've had a chance to look at Bref Sarah's blogs. Initially their dates of 2011 threw me off, but then saw their publication dates on 2015. I always want to encourage TBers to catch up blogging trips that have occurred some time ago...better late than never! So I will second them.

Thanks for the kind words. I get on travelblog.org from time to time and I really enjoy it. I think that I will be taking a short trip in May. I'll continue to check out new blogs.

mikesrtw for BoW. A couple who meticulously documented and blogged about their preparations for a big RWT trip, are now blogging from SE Asia. I enjoy their travel observations and easy style of writing.

Reply to this I would like to 3rd the nomination of mikesrtw. The photographs of buildings and statues are taken at interesting angles, and the photography is beautiful in general. The writing style is both informative and honest--I liked it when they admitted that they bought third-class tickets.
