We arrived in Noosa with nowhere booked thinking we would cruise up to the first hostel we found and find room, we were very wrong. After finding that everywhere was fully booked we decided to take our chances at Koala's hostel, and wait for no shows. The courtesy bus was driven by the craziest Aussie called Dom we have met to date, who should have had a job as a stand up comic, and not a hostel dude. The first thing he asked us was if we had travel insurance, and with his driving, I'm glad I did! We were taken on a tour of Noosa in the bus and every now and again, he'd pull over and point at a eucalyptus tree and then drive off, a joke he plays on unsuspecting tourists. They see
