One thing became clear while we were in the Black Hills - we need a new car battery. After having it die once before in Ontario, and almost again in remote forests of the South Dakota, we made it a top priority to get one at our next opportunity. So, that opportunity arriving in Spearfish, SD, we were put a little off our intended schedule and had some ground to cover. What was originally going to be an overnight at Devil’s Tower turned into a day trip, and since neither of us are rock climbers, we both agree that’s all we needed anyhow. It's my day 1 of my trip to Rome. It was really ahrd for me to find a place to visit in rome because there was too many attractions to choose from! But I ended up going to the colliseum. I chose this place because I think its a beautiful destinations to visit. I m on the plane and on my way to Amsterdam where we going to have a stopover. My roundtrip ticket was a little expensive than I expected. I bought it for $1,369, in American money. But I think its going to be worth it because I am really excited about my trip around Europe! Saga of the rental car. We had originally had our daughter setup our rental car to be picked up in Bristol, TN. That was the nearest place I could find a rental firm. While confirming our shuttle time, the guy who drives said the company we were going to use had an office in Abington. People are picked up right in front of their store all of the time by the firm and we would save the cost of two shuttles. We called the Abington office. They said we could switch with no problems or additional costs. I told them to make the switch. This was done yesterday. I think we’ve set a new record of sorts in shifting residences. Consider this - In the last 3 yrs - I’ve lived in 11 different apartments !!!! So I guess I’m a veteran now. Living in Cambridge though is entirely different from any other place. Let me backup and tell you something about the history and geography of Cambridge. Cambridge is a town adjacent to the city of Boston. The city of Boston itself is very compact( only 232 sq. km) and the surrounding areas( treated as separate cities with mayors) comprise the Greater Boston area. Blogger: DJ We just gassed up in Knoxville, TN, which is funny because we thought we had passed through knoxville about 15-20 minutes earlier. Though it's possible that Knoxville is just huge. Katie would like to point out that for all of the mix CDs that we've listened to, no one saw fi to include "On the Road again" and that she was disappointed. I pointed out that the song is about anticipation of being on the road again and escaping and that my friends that made the CD's would most likely not be trying to encourage such behavior.
