Last week Steph, Nicole, Katelyn, and I were able to take advantage of a crew shore excursion that was being offered to the Kennedy Space Centre. For $15, we had transportation, passes into the centre, tours around the centre, and things like the shuttle launch experience and the IMAX film. What a fun day we had. We were driven out near the launch pad where the actual NASA launches take place. Along the way we saw lots of alligators, as the Kennedy Space Centre is also a nature reserve and houses many different animals, including lots of Florida gators! It was amazing to tour around and see real rockets. It’s hard to truly appreciate the size and complexity of these giant structures we were surrounded by.
