1st full day in LA today so we took the touror around town. We have been around Hollywood and the city as well as Rodeo drive and Melrose for some shopping and window shopping. We got the tour of the Chinese theatre and Kodak theatre and oscars and stars walk. We had a good tour guide and a huge 6 hour tour around town. We went everywhere. Took some good pics and Chloe was a little disappointed I think that we didn't see any actual stars although everybody in LA thinks they are a star. We are planning dinner next door at the cafe next to the hotel in west Hollywood it is nice and the very helpful young men are all extremely happy. LOL! HollywoodBusted out universal studios today after a pub crawl in Hollywood last night. Pub-crawl was organised by hostel and we managed two bars then were too drunk haha! But met some cool people and won the ring the bull game, throw a ring onto their horns! Then got chatted up by the gay bar man who gave me free whiskey shots yay...... Well I didn't know he was gay, just thought he was nice but appaz he was very gay haha. Talked about sport all night so that was good! So as I sit here in a hostel bed in Hollywood at 10pm after travelling from what was 2am US Pacific time I thought I'd do the sappy reflective blog of it all. But I won't bother. If you've been following my blog you know exactly what the last few months have meant for me and there's no need for me to go over it. So I'm just going to end with how my last night in the Northern Hemispshere went then find you my favourite photo from the last 3.5 months. So basically got into the third world airport that is LAX at 6 and managed to find my bag after they dropped us at the wrong terminal and we had to walk for ages. Aujourd hui, je suis allee tres tot dans Pasadena, mais rien n etait ouvert, car j y etais a 7h am! Je me suis promenee dans le coins, qui est magnifique, car la ville est dans les montagnes! Apres avoir marche jusqu a 9h, je suis repartie en bus + metro jusqu a Universal! Ce fut long (1:30h) mais vers midi, j etais prete a me battre contre les momies et dinausaures, et Shrek! C est cher, 77$ l entree, mais je comprends parce que y a du budget dans ce parc! J y allais surtout pour Jurassic Parc, mais King Kong et les Mommy etaient cool aussi. Et Shrek en 4D etait impresionnant! La chaise bougeait avec les galops des cheveaux, et on se faisait asperges quand Donkey eternue! Bref, tout les sens sont stimules, ... read more
