Hi There Not going to type to much coz to be honest I can't be bothered today....hehe On Friday I went to a Stately Home/Manor House called Cotehele down south with my sisters Michelle and Jacqui and my nephew Connor. We had at last received some sunshine so decided to get out and about. Cotehele has some lovely gardens and normally you are allowed in the house which is full of old furniture, bit like a museum but on this particular day the house was closed for cleaning so we made do with walking around the grounds which was nice enough. So on here are some pictures of the grounds and flowers and me trying to be arty with my camera and trying to take pics of butterflys and fancy flower shots. After that we went ... read more

Another morning flight but a short trip to the airport to return the hire car and after a bit of drama around which terminal we were flying from we were off to Plymouth. A short flight with Air South West who are a local airline based out of Plymouth. The flight was less than 2 hours and we touched down in Bristol to drop off and pick up a few other passengers and we were off again. We have previously done the five hour drive to Plymouth to this was certainly the favoured option to travel the Australian way by flying if at all possible. This was a Saturday so we just spent the day settling and seeing some of Jo's family. We had a great dinner at Yealmpton with some of Jo's old school friends. ... read more

Wayne drove us down to Plymouth for our first UK dive trip of the season. We stopped en-route at Stonehenge making use of our English Heritage membership. It seemed to take forever to get there, and then when we finally arrived at our destination we struggled to find a parking spot (Wayne found one an parked with inches to spare!). We got to the pub checked in and had some dinner yum yum. After a much needed rest we woke early for breakfast headed to the quay and loaded the boat - bit rushed to get on board but we made it. We headed out to sea, and it was a bit rough so the skipper decided we should stay in the harbour and dive the breakwater fort. It was a pleasent enough dive but a ... read more

We have been in Devon for nearly a week now and Morocco seems like a dream - were we really there? When we first started planning our trip (a lifetime ago) the the main focus was the wedding of my niece Rebecca on November 3rd (Happy Birthday Chris). Spain and Morocco were the warm up. Mind you, we saw and did so much during that portion of our travels that life seems positively sleepy right now. We have been so used to getting up early, unpacking, packing and getting ready to "hit the road" that it seems strange to be in one spot. Honestly, there were times during the last few weeks when I would wake up in the middle of the dark night thinking "now where is the bathroom?" Of course we have had a ... read more
